Camp Wakon’ Da-Ho
Camp Wakon’Da-Ho in Yosemite, Kentucky, is our denominational camp that children and youth attend with other Disciple of Christ Churches from the state. All children and youth are highly encouraged to attend if available. If your child has never attended, please contact Holly (holly@southelkhorncc.org) with questions or to learn more about this life-changing place.
Step 1: Register Online
Please read the following tips and instructions to register for camp:

Use the “Register” button in the table below to register for your selected camp.

Campers will attend the camp for the grade completed in May.

The registration deadline is May 1, but camps will fill up quickly.

Please list the full name of our church, South Elkhorn Christian Church, on the registration form (this is for billing)

The “2025 Camp Information” (linked above) will give you information on what to bring, arrival and departure, cost, address of camp, and medication details. (Please print this page for your files).

Step 2: Pay Using the Camp Portal
Please read through the payment process carefully, as it has changed:

Payments are due at the time of registration.

South Elkhorn will cover HALF of the total cost of one camp for each active member and visitor until May 1. (See example below)

Payment can be made at campwakondaho.ludus.com. Use code SOUTHELKHORN to receive the discounted cost. Payments should NOT be sent to South Elkhorn Christian Church.

Example 1
To attend a CYF (high school) camp, the total cost is $300. If a camper signs up for CYF 1 (before May 1), they will pay $150 using the camp online portal after registering, and the church will pay the other half. If the same youth attends CYF 2 as well, an additional $300 is due. Any registration after May 1 must pay the full cost.
Example 2
Attending 101 A (K-2 grade) camp costs $60 per person for the child & one parent. If a camper signs up before May 1, they will pay $60 using the camp online portal after registering, and the church will pay the other half. Any registration after May 1 must pay the full cost ($140).
